Most of us have heard those four magic words: How can I help?
We’ve probably all read about them in terms of customer service. They also apply in our personal lives, too. How cool is it when you’re talking with friends or meeting someone for dinner to discuss your latest idea, and at the end of the conversation, they ask how they can help you make it happen?
Now it’s my turn to ask: How can I help? I spent 2010 putting up some great content that I felt you needed to know; content I thought would help you be more informed and a better business person. I had an incredible year, and I’m very thankful for that. I made great progress in more areas than I could have imagined, both personal and professional.
That got me thinking…it’s time to give something back. It’s time to find out what you want to know, not what I think you need to know. I want to make 2011 the year we all become masters of our own universes.
So I’d like to ask you a favor. Take the survey shown on the bottom of this post. It’s only a few questions (six to be exact), and it shouldn’t take you more than a couple of minutes to complete. I need to know what kind of information you want to see this year. I’ll create my posts and other content based on your feedback.
By the way, I’ve gotten lots of requests this year for information on grants for small businesses. I’m putting together some great content on finding grant opportunities, and doing grant response. I’ll be posting some of the information here on my blog, releasing a good portion of it in the form of a free report for people on my newsletter list, and I’m also looking into the logistics of publishing a complete ebook/ecourse as well. (Sign up for my newsletter if you don’t want to miss it.)
So, without further rambling, you’ll find the survey below. Please complete as little or as much as you like. Press “submit” when you are done. Thank you very much for your time. Be well.
