Ohio Dept of Taxation Hall of Fame Nominations

The Ohio Department of Taxation in partnership with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce is inviting you to nominate candidates for the Ohio Tax Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame was created in 2001 to acknowledge the efforts of those individuals who have significantly contributed to the development, administration or operation of Ohio’s state tax system.

Previous honorees have served in both the public and private sectors. They range from tax administrators and elected officials to attorneys and practitioners.

If you know someone who’s made a difference in the world of state and local taxes, complete a nomination form by January 13, 2012 and mail it to Howard_Wheat@tax.state.oh.us.

Nominations may also be mailed to:

Ohio Department of Taxation
Ohio Tax Commissioner
Attn: Hall of Fame
P.O. Box 530
Columbus, OH 43216-0530

When the nominating period closes, the Ohio Tax Commissioner and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce will review the list of nominees and choose the inductee. The selection will be announced at the annual Ohio Tax Conference in Columbus and the inductee will be honored during a ceremony at the conference on Jan. 24.
